Getting Started with Your Gateway and Agents
I’ve spent way too much time jumping between different tools and chat apps just to get a single task done. It’s annoying when your workspace feels scattered and you can’t find a central place to manage your agents and automation. I prefer having everything in one spot where the routing actually makes sense.

What You’ll Need

Quick Start
Section titled “Quick Start”Setting this up doesn’t have to take all day. Here is the fastest path to get your gateway running.
- Initialize your setup: Follow the Getting Started guide to install the core components. If you prefer a declarative setup, you can use Nix mode.
- Configure the assistant: Use the OpenClaw assistant setup to help handle the initial heavy lifting.
- Define your settings: Check the Configuration page to set your preferences. You can find specific templates in Configuration examples.
- Connect a UI: Pick a way to interact with your system, such as the Control UI or the macOS app.
Troubleshooting
